Privacy Policy

SolarCalcNow is designed to show calculator results before asking for contact information. Calculator inputs are used to produce a planning estimate and are not required to be paired with an email or phone number.

SolarCalcNow may use Google Analytics and related technical metrics after consent to understand how visitors use the site, improve UX, monitor performance, protect service quality, and keep the calculator stable.

Analytics and technical records may include device type, browser, language, approximate location, pages visited, interaction events, and technical logs. Analytics events should not include ZIP code, phone, email, name, address, or raw bill values.

The optional quote form is validation-only in this current MVP: it checks and scores the request, but it does not save leads, send SMS, post to partners, or create CRM records. Before production lead collection, the project must define storage, partner sharing, consent, retention, deletion, and security practices.

Printable report links can include estimate inputs in the URL. Keep those links private if ZIP code, bill amount, or usage details feel sensitive.

If you decline analytics cookies, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics stays off. SolarCalcNow stores a small local consent preference so the banner does not reappear on every page view.

Do not enter sensitive personal information beyond what a production form explicitly requests. This policy should be reviewed before public launch or any live partner integration.
